Chocolate Passion with
Koum Quat from Corfu
for cake
1/2 kgr butter
3 tsp instant coffee
1 cup sugar
400 gr chocolate (pieces)
8 eggs
20ml Corfiot Koum Quat liker

In a saucepan, boil the butter with the coffee,Corfu
koum quat liker
and the sugar, until is dissolved well the sugar. Throw in
the pieces
of chocolate and mix until they ll be melt. Lower the mix
from the fire
and put in one big pan. Leave be cold little. Mix the
eggs just for a
minute. Give the mix of eggs in the pan with chocolate ,
mix them
continuously, until you achieve a homogeneous mix. Set
in the form
with diameter 24 cm,a nonstick paper and butter it well,
as well as
walls. Drop the chocolate in the form. Then put the form
in a bigger
deep baking pan with water, that would cover 1 cm from
her height
and cooks the cake in the 180 degrees of Celsius,
45minutes.
Remove from the oven and place the form to rest.
Separate the cake from the wall of the form, passing a
knife around
the wall and in the cake. Leave be cold inside the form.
Put in the
refrigerator leave there 3-4 hours. In between, you
prepare sauce.
Mix all together the materials in a small saucepan and
heat until melts
the chocolate. Mix well , until becomes soft and
creamy. Remove the
cake from the refrigerator and put in a plate.Take off
the paper and
drop the sauce until it ll cover well the cake, and keep
in the
refrigerator. Decorate with Corfiot Koum Quat Sweet
prepared
with sirup and serve cold.
